KEETON, JR., MR. GEORGE Z. Muskegon, MI Mr. George Z. Keeton, Jr., age 79, died Saturday, March 22, 2003. He was born in Cypress Inn, TN on October 12, 1923 to George & Annie Harrison Keeton. Mr. Keeton served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in the First Special Service Force, 2nd Company, 3rd Regiment Devil's Brigade. Mr. Keeton had been employed as a district supervisor at NAPH-SOL Refinery Zephyr, Inc. for over 40 years until retiring in 1986. He was a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post #3195, 32nd degree member of Lovell Moore Lodge & Shriner of the Salladin Temple. Mr. Keeton was known by friends & family for his cooking & southern hospitality. SURVIVORS 4 daughters, Pat Keeton-Carter, Glenda John Moore, Jan Loomis & Neva Lew Vaughan, all of Muskegon, MI; 3 sons, Larry Keeton, George L. Keeton & Mikey Keeton, all of Muskegon, MI; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Lillie Richardson of TN; 1 brother, John Keeton of AL; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents & by 3 sisters, Madge Melton, Alma Risner & May Clements. SERVICE Thursday, March 27, 2003, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Clifford Lones officiating. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery with a Veteran's service under the Auspices of V.F.W. Post #3195. VISITATION Wednesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM with a Masonic service at 7:30 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
