George A. Harvey

Mr. George A. Harvey, age 71, passed away Monday evening, February 11, 2008 at a local hospital. He was born March 29, 1936 to George P. and Lillian M. (Williams) Harvey in Muskegon, and lived almost all of his life here. Mr. Harvey was retired from Peerless Plating, was a member of the Muskegon Heights Eagles, and had been a member of Wolf Lake Baptist Church. On June 5, 1964 he married Pamela Ann Berglund in Muskegon. She preceded him in death on April 14, 1992. SURVIVORS include 2 children; Cheryl (Benjamin) Santos of San Diego, CA, Scott (Laura) Harvey of Howell, MI; 5 grandchildren, Dustin, Annmarie, Emily Rose, Shane and Ashley; 1 brother, Grahl (Betty) Harvey of Muskegon; 1 sister, Evelyn Zacharius of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister, Beryl Morbeck. SERVICES will 11:00 AM Saturday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210 with Rev. Burt C. Wachter officiating. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION at the funeral home will be from 6-8 PM Friday evening.
