George G. Frick

FRICK, MR. GEORGE G. Mr. George G. Frick, age 87, of Grand Haven, died Saturday, December 18, 2004 at Shore Haven - Mercy Living Center. He was born in Shelby Twp., Michigan on July 13, 1917 to Frederick and Rosanna Moore Frick and married the former Genevieve "Jeanne" Payne on November 17, 1937. He served his country in the US Merchant Marines in WWII. Mr. Frick had been an accountant at Brunswick Corp. for 10 years and he also worked for Schindler Elevator in Ohio. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus George McCarthy Council he was also a former member of the Grand Haven Eagles Aerie 925. Mr. Frick enjoyed gardening, genealogy and bowling, but he especially loved to read. SURVIVORS Wife, Genevieve "Jeanne"; son, F. George Frick of Alllendale, MI; daughter, Rosa Jeanne Bice of Grand Haven Twp.; grandchildren, Amy Mike Schmidt, Linda Jeff Douglas, Jason Bice, Rob Frick, Tom Frick, Jim Frick and Julie Scott Bradley; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Domin of Orafino, Idaho; brother Lyle E. Leona Frick of Walkerville, MI; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Frick was preceded in death by his son, Frederick on Feb. 22 1996; a half brother and 3 half sisters. SERVICE Wednesday, December 22, 2004, 11:00 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Fr. William Langlois officiating. MEMORIAL: St. Patrick's Church.
