George Van Epps

Mr. George D. Van Epps, age 85, died Thursday, February 13, 2014. He joins his parents, Dr. George D. and Martha (Campbell) Van Epps, his sister Martha (Jack) Hilt and his beloved dog Roady. George graduated from Muskegon High School in 1946 and served in the US Army in Korea. He attended Albion College and Detroit College of Law and subsequently practiced law with the firm of Parmenter O'Toole until his retirement in 2002. He was a long time member of White Lake Golf Club, the Big Reds Leather Helmets and Albion A Club. George was a good and generous man who will be remembered by his friends and associates for his wit, his integrity and his love of the game of golf, especially when played with his friends at White Lake Golf Club. SURVIVORS He is survived by his wife Pat; son, Michael (Monique) Van Epps; and nephew, John (Linda) Hilt. SERVICE Pursuant to his wishes, there will be no services.
