George R. Chandler

George R. Chandler, age 68 passed away on April 15, 2008. George is survived by his wife of 25 years, Janet; six children, Douglas Chandler, Kim Fuller, Camille Mitchell, Carmen (Todd) Flickinger, Candace (Matt) Saya, Clinton "Skip" Rollins; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; his mother, Olive Chandler; seven siblings, June Beasley, Jim (Glenna) Chandler, Flora (John) Pastonik, Larry (Sherry) Chandler, Wallace (Barb) Chandler, Lana (Tom) Williams, Rhonda Messerschmidt, several nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Jeanette (Bob) Foster, and Nancy Deephouse. George was preceded in death by his father, James "Nelson ' Chandler, and a sister, Ardith Fagan; a daughter, Mashelle Ring; a great-grandson, and his father and mother-in-law, James and Dorothy Carden. George retired from Bakker Auto Trim, and was a Gold Club Member of the Fruitport Eagles. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 11783 E. Keating Ave. Visitation will be held today from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Shriners Crippled Children's Foundation. Arrangements by Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel.
