GONZALEZ, Mrs.

Geneva

Geneva Gonzalez 73 passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones July 7th 2024. Geneva was born August 23rd 1950 to parents David Gonzalez & Genoveva Moreno and formed a very close bond with her siblings as she was growing up. She went on to have five beautiful children, was the grandmother of 11, and great grandmother of five.

Geneva loved her family more than anything, especially her grandkids, and you would always find her at all of their sporting events. She absolutely loved spending time with her family and you'd often find her in the kitchen cooking up something wonderful for them.

Geneva had a smile that would light up the whole room and her presence could instantly liven up any gathering. When she wasn't doting on her family, you could often find her outside watering her plants, playing practical jokes on loved ones (April Fools was her favorite holiday), dancing the cumbia with her sister Hope, watching her novellas, or if there was a Detroit Lions game on, she was glued to the TV. She visited Ruben like clockwork every day after his passing and even grew a small extension to her family as the staff at Sunrise Memorial Gardens grew to look forward to seeing her everyday.
