Mr. Gene N. Farber, age 90, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014. He was born in Muskegon, MI on January 23, 1923 to Jacob & Mildred (Victor) Farber and served his country in the US Army Air Corp. during WWII. He married the former Elizabeth Wagenmaker after the passing of his first wife Evelyn Smith. Mr. Farber had been employed as a Steam Fitter for West MI Plumbers Fitters and Service Trades Local #174 for 38 years until retiring. He was a former member of the American Legion. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Jo Elaine Farber-Gruszecki, Maudie (David) Farber-Chester, Kathy (Richard) Farber-Dalson; sons, Lee (Lusette) Farber, Jacob (Karen) Farber, Robert (Tammy) Farber, Daniel Farber; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Johnson; stepchildren, Annalou (Herschel) Kellis, Linda (Don) Hyma, Donna (Rod) Sorn, Bruce (Cindy) Wagenmaker, Brian (Jackie) Wagenmaker, Paula (Jerry) Ellis. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn in 2000; his parents; three granddaughters (triplets); sister, Donna Farber. MEMORIAL SERVICE Tuesday, January 7, 2014, 11:00 AM at Fifth Reformed Church with Rev.
