COOPER, MR. GARTH EUGENE Muskegon Mr. Garth E. Cooper, age 70, died Tuesday, June 22, 2004. He was born in Muskegon, MI on May 21, 1934 to Luther & Jennie Black Cooper & married the former Karen A. Kison on February 13, 1987. Mr. Cooper had been employed as a machinist at Sealed Power for 33 years until retiring. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church & an Active member of Union Local #637. Mr. Cooper coached E. Muskegon Little League for 15 yrs., was a Goodwill Board member & President of the Rock & Mineral Assoc. SURVIVORS Wife, Karen A.; 1 son, Garth E. Sue Cooper of Lansing; 5 daughters, Deanna Chuck DeVowe of Muskegon, Ruth Ann Cooper of Muskegon, Cindy Jerry Morehouse of Muskegon, Christine Cooper of MN & Barbara Dennis Kingshott -Coppock of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren, Douglas, Zachary, Rebecca, Nicole, David, Brandon, Jennifer 3 sisters, Lynette Bud Willea of Muskegon, Edith Dick McPherson of Branch, MI & Sarah Bill Sands of Sparta, MI; 3 brothers, Luther Norma Cooper of NC, James Sandy Cooper of Muskegon & William Cooper of Muskegon; mother-in-law, Dortha Vredeveld of Muskegon & 1 sister-in-law, Pat Cooper of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Katheen in 1985, a brother, Oscar & by 2 sisters, Sue & Muriel. SERVICE Saturday, June 26, 2004, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Pastor Ken Shady officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Friday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
