DAVIS, MRS. GARNET VIRGINIA Grand Haven Mrs. Garnet V. Davis, age 87, died Friday, June 18, 2004. She was born in Traverse City, MI on April 19, 1917 to Arthur & Adeline Miller Erickson and married Merle Alva Davis on August 6, 1934 in Traverse City, Michigan. Mrs. Davis had been a homemaker. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Richard Lee Sherlie Davis of Fruitport & Lawrence Cathy Davis of Nunica; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle in 1988; son, Merle A. Jr.; 2 brothers; 1 sister.
