Gale, Truman M.

Mr. Gale, age 68, died October 11, 2006. Born October 6, 1938, in Muskegon to Augustus and Hilda (Lederle) Gale, he had lived in the White Lake area for many years, living in Manistee the past 6 years. He had worked as a carpenter all his life, working for Carpenter Local #100 for 10 years and also owned and operated Gale Construction Co. He loved hunting, fishing, and football. You always knew where he was because you could hear his laugh. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Marvin and Gerrol Gale. FAMILY: His wife, Connie; a son, Jeff (Marsha) Gale of Grand Haven; a daughter, Ann (Al) Ely of Whitehall; grandchildren, Jennifer & Josh Gale, Jordan, Ashley & Morgan Cullen, Holly Swain & Raven Brietwisch, and Trevor & Trenton Brietwisch; brothers & sisters, Carl (Dottie) Gale and Butch (Kelly) Gale, both of Hart, Virginia (Bob) Lynn of Whitehall, Lincoln Gale of Muskegon, Lois Kinstner of Holton, Carol (Jim) Johnston of AR, Sally (Lynn) Felt of New Era, Stan (JoAnn) and Bob Gale, both of Whitehall. SERVICE: Monday, October 16, 2006, at 11:00 AM, from Clock Chapel-Whiteall with the Rev. Joseph Glover officiating. VISITING HOURS: Sunday, 2-5PM, at the funeral home in Whitehall.
