Stewart, Mr. Frederick Rudolph Nunica, Michigan Mr. Frederick Rudolph Stewart, age 85, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020. He was born in Caspian, MI on June 23, 1935 to Roy & Josephine (Karle) Stewart and served his country in the US National Guard. Mr. Stewart had been employed at Anderson Bolling, then Michigan Foam for 18 years until retiring. He then went to work part-time in shipping and receiving at Meijer in Grand Haven. Fred enjoyed the outdoors, watching the birds and other "critters" at the birdfeeder that he always kept full, watching the Detroit Lions on tv on Sundays, and deer hunting in the Iron River area. He was proud of the 1930 Ford Model A car and 1950 Ford 8N tractor that he and his son, John, had restored. SURVIVORS Children, Sandra (Mike) Piper, Kathleen (Bill) Perysian & John (Janet) Stewart; grandchildren, Autumn (David) Hazekamp, Travis Bradfield, Rachel (Noah) Peterson, Raelyn (Cody) Patterson & Jessica Stewart; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Mabel Johnson, sister-in-law, Ramona Stewart, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Roy and sister, Louise (Tootsie) Kudwa. SERVICE Per Fred's wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
