Frederick Leo Ries

RIES, MR. FREDERICK LEO Muskegon Mr. Frederick L. Ries, age 72, died Thursday, June 16, 2005. He was born in Beaver Dam, WI on February 5, 1933 to Leo A. & Hazel Conley Ries and married the former Frances Hronek on August 17, 1957 in Muskegon. Mr. Ries had served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed as a Pattern Maker at Monarch Pattern and CWC Textron until retiring. He then worked as security manager at the airport. He was a life member of Elks Lodge #274 & American Legion Post #0009, and was a member of Muskegon Fury Booster Club. SURVIVORS Wife of 47 years, Frances; 4 daughters, Lynn Steve Kordecki, Cheryl Ferris, both of Norton Shores, Debra Todd Hinkle of North Muskegon, Bonnie Art Szot of Norton Shores; 10 grandchildren, Stephanie Ries, Michelle, Leslie & Kayle Kordecki, Chris, Nick, Sammy & Renee Hinkle, Benjamin Szot, & Brittany Ferris; 1 great grandson, Spencer Ries.
