AMEL , MR. FREDERICK N. Laketon Twp. Mr. Frederick N. Hamel, age 69, died Friday, February 7, 2003. He was born in Muskegon, MI on October 13, 1933 to Frederick & Jessie Pletcher Hamel & married the former Sally Collins on May 25, 1957 in Muskegon, MI. Mr. Hamel had served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had been employed as a Tool & Die Maker at Sealed Power for 35 years until retiring in 1989. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 8846 & Mr. Quicks ''Coffee Club''. Mr. Hamel enjoyed antiquing, golf and foremost his family. SURVIVORS 1 son, Fred Hamel of Muskegon; 3 daughters, Cynthia Wayne Kuerth of Twin Lake, LeeAnn Lee Hiller of Muskegon & Lisa Shawn Hiller of Grand Rapids; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Dorann Lyle Duell of Muskegon; several nieces & nephews & his special friend, Mary Dykema of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally in 1995. SERVICE Tuesday, February 11, 2003, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
