Freddie Douglas Richardson, 75 passed away December 11, 2023 at his residence. Freddie was born January 1, 1948 in Greenville, MS to the parentage of Eddie and Ophelia (Love) Richardson. Freddie Joined Spring Street Baptist Church where he was baptized by Rev. Isaiah Kirskey. He joined the church choir and Junior Masons, after he graduated from Muskegon Heights High where he played football. Fred continued his education at Muskegon Community College. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1968, the youngest of two other brothers (Catry and Lee Vaughn) each serving during the Vietnam War. Upon returning home to Muskegon Heights from the war Fred became a Certified Land Surveyor, and later worked for American Airlines in Detroit, Michigan. Fred relocated to Oakland, California, where he married his then, fiance Mable (Peppers)Richardson and later welcomed a son Isaac. He extended his family and welcomed a daughter; Shercee Richardson-Barrett.

Left to cherish his memories, son; Isaac (Nieasha) Richardson, daughter;Shercee Richardson-Barrett, Siblings; Cartry Vaughn, B J Vaughn, Lula Vaughn, Lee Vaughn, Kirvis Richardson, Daaiyah (Abdullah) Abdul-Muhaimin, Jerome Richardson, Jimmie Lee Vaughn, Ora Lee Spears, and Carolyn Spears, and grandchildren; Jacob and Savannah Richardson and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Ilisha Richardson (2022) and two siblings Thelma and Willie James Richardson.

Mr. Freddie Douglas Richardson will be greatly missed by all who's lives he touched just by those who knew him best with due respect.

RIP, Son, Brother, Father, Uncle, Friend gone but not forgotten
