Franklin Dee "Frank" Crews, Sr., 85, passed away peacefully on Dec. 17, 2023 in Muskegon, MI. He was born Nov. 18, 1938 in Union City, TN and was raised in Paris, TN and Muskegon. He and Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Wadsworth were married on Nov 10, 1962 in NC. He was a proud veteran of the Marines and a member of the Marine Reserves. Frank was employed by CWC Textron before starting Quality Painting by Frank Crews in Muskegon with his wife in 1972.

He was preceded in death by Betsy in 2020, his son, Scott, in 2022 and his dog, Buddy. He is survived by his son, Frank, Jr. and daughter Ann (Erik) Schoff, of Muskegon; caregiver and very special person, Jennifer Allen, of Muskegon; grandchildren Katie, Jillian, Steven and Christina, of Muskegon, and Kaley and great-granddaughter, Olive, of Lansing; sisters Jane Hoffman, of Muskegon and June Moore, Eloy, AZ.

A celebration will be held at a later date.
