Frank Olof Sundquist Jr, age 85, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026 surrounded by loving family at his home in Norton Shores Ml. As a pioneer in the automotive paint-less dent repair business, he was well known and respected in the greater Muskegon area by the many professionals in the auto sales and body shop business, and just about everyone who was ever employed by Sealed Power Corporation. People remind his son frequently of the sage advice he freely gave them. Frank married the former Rene Brock Youngdahl in 2006 and she preceded him in death in 2019.

Mr. Sundquist grew up in Muskegon, attended Muskegon Public Schools, was confirmed at Samuel Lutheran Church where his Grandfather, Ole Sundquist, was a founding member. He joined the Air Force where he was stationed in Alaska and Japan as a Radio Intercept Operator. He took a job at Sealed Power Corporation after he finished his enlistment. Starting as a machine operator he worked his way up to process engineer and was instrumental in setting up a new plant in St Louis, MO.

Frank was an avid kite flyer, golfer and for many years a good dancer. He enjoyed spending time at his condo in Florida where he shot clay pigeons and fished with friends. Frank spent many hours with his good friend, Curtis Summers, maintaining the courtyard at First Congregational Church, where his late wife Rene is interred. He was an active member of the Vikings Linne lodge 57, participating in the Invardrana Choir with his son and grandson Nicholas and Elias. He helped to manage the pull tabs accounts at the Vikings Lodge as well. He will be missed at the Elks lodge where he participated in veterans' charities.
