Mr. Frank B. Hitchcock, age 90, died Monday, March 19, 2007. He was born in Muskegon, MI on January 3, 1917 to Grant & Inez (Burr) Hitchcock and married the former Marjorie Hine on November 27, 1946. Frank served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Hitchcock had been employed at Dresser Industries for 35 years until retiring in 1982. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church and the Masonic Order Muskegon Lodge #44. He was a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America Troop #52 at Lincoln School. He was an avid trapper, hunter, fisherman and enjoyed hiking. Frank played volleyball until the age of 85 and was a medal winner every year he participated in the Senior Olympics. SURVIVORS Wife of 60 years, Marjorie; son, David (Debbie) Hitchcock of Grand Rapids; daughter, Susan Merigan of Kalamazoo; 2 grandchildren, Matt (Nicole) Hitchcock and Ben Hitchcock; brother, Grant Hitchcock of Tulsa, OK; several nieces & nephews. SERVICE Friday, March 23, 2007, 11:00 AM at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Randall Hanson officiating. Interment at Hart Cemetery. VISITATION Thursday, 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Central United Methodist Church or charity of your choice.
