Frank Glassnor

Mr. Frank H. Glassnor, age 86, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015. He was born in Sullivan Township, Michigan on September 2, 1928 to Charles & Matilda (Sweenor) Glassnor and served his country in the US Army, serving in Germany. He married the former Corabel VanderMolen on December 5, 1961 and she preceded him in death after 53 years on August 10, 2015. Mr. Glassnor had been employed as a Truck Driver for the Muskegon Township Road Commission for 18 years until retiring. Frank enjoyed racing stock cars at Thunderbird and Whisky Ridge Raceways. He loved working on engines in his garage. SURVIVORS Son, Howard (Sally) Glassnor, daughter, Tammy (Clark) Smith; grandchildren, Michael Glassnor, CJ (Elizabeth) Smith, Lisa Glassnor, Darrick (Tasha) Smith, Shyanne Smith; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Viola Shalito of Muskegon; He was preceded in death by his wife; parents, 11 brothers & sister.
