Francis J Ruud

Mr. Francis Junior Ruud, age 89, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018. He was born in Muskegon Heights, Michigan on January 6, 1929 to Hans & Georgiana (Renault) Ruud and married the former Emily Chochola on June 10, 1950. Mr. Ruud had been employed as a machinist for Teledyne Continental Motors for over 30 years until retiring in 1988. Francis was a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church and the Vikings. He was a people person and enjoyed eating out and building model cars. SURVIVORS Wife of 67 years, Emily; sons, Douglas (Jeff Comstock) Ruud of Grand Rapids, John (Kurt Moore) Ruud of Grand Rapids, Joseph Ruud of Grand Haven, Michael (Janet) Ruud of IN; daughter, Sue (Tim) Addicott of Norton Shores; grandchildren, Brandi, Kirstin, Erika, Tracy, Todd, Nathan, Taylor & Morgan; many great and several great great grandchildren; brother, Fredrick "Pat" (Theresa) Ruud of Fruitport. He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 4 sisters. SERVICE Monday, February 26, 2018, 1:00 pm at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church with Fr. Charles Hall officiating. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery. VISITATION Sunday, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Scripture Service at 7:30 pm at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon and Monday, 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm at the church.
