Frances M. Williams

Mrs. Frances M. Williams, age 80, died Thursday, April 10, 2008. She was born in Grand Haven, MI on March 20, 1928 to Robert & Lillie (Sillman) Scheil and married Marlin Williams on August 15, 1963. Mrs. Williams had been employed as an Executive Secretary at Consumers Power until she retired. She was a lifelong active member of United Lutheran Church of West Olive. Mrs. Williams volunteered at NOCH, served in the Altar Guild, led Ladies Bible Study and was an avid Bridge and Pinochle player. SURVIVORS 1 sister, Sophia Schultz of Muskegon; 3 step children; several nieces & nephews. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin; parents; 2 brothers, Robert Scheil, Carl Scheil; 2 sisters, Matilda Scheil, Myrtle Behm. SERVICE Tuesday, April 15, 2008, 11:00 AM at Clock Chapel-Grand Haven with Rev. Earl Merz & Mr. Jerry Robinson officiating. Interment at Historic Cemetery. VISITATION Monday, 6-8 PM and Tuesday, 1hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Grand Haven. MEMORIAL: In lieu of flowers, United Lutheran Church Building Fund, American Cancer Society.
