EDLUND, MRS. FRANCES R. Roosevelt Park Mrs. Frances R. Edlund, age 87, died Friday, May 7, 2004. She was born in Oneida, New York on November 5, 1916 to Samuel & Rosalie Ignazzito Schembri & married George B. Edlund, Sr. on December 31, 1949. Mrs. Edlund had been a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corp. during WWII. She had been employed at Howmet for 13 years until retiring in 1978. Mrs. Edlund was a member of Samuel Lutheran Church & enjoyed playing bingo. SURVIVORS Husband, George; 3 sons, George B. Tina Edlund, Jr. of New Era, John C. Edlund of Grand Rapids & Frank S. Edlund of Muskegon; 2 daughters, Karin M. Brinkman of Eden Prairie, MN & Kirsten A. Edlund of Fruitport; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Frank Joan Schembri of Bowie, MD; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters & 1 brother. SERVICE Tuesday, May 11, 2004, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Chris Anderson officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Monday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
