Florence Remenar

Mrs. Florence E. "Liz" Remenar, age 84, died February 20, 2007 in Plainwell, MI. She was born September 28, 1922 in Buffalo, West Virginia to Charles & Mianda (Hall) Swindler. She lived in Battle Creek for 13 years before moving to Norton Shores in 1960. While living in Norton Shores, she was an active member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Florence married John Remenar on May 20, 1950 and they were married for 53 years until his death in 2003. She is survived by her children, Charles Remenar of East Lansing, John (Sue) Remenar of Toledo, Robert (Lynn) Remenar of Troy, Kathleen Remenar of Midland, Judith (Lonnie) Doolittle of Plainwell, Richard (Donna) Remenar of Midland; a sister, Sue Holder of Battle Creek; and 9 grandchildren. The FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 11 AM Friday at the Marian Chapel of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Julian Reginato, presiding.
