Florence Hoekenga was a free spirit.
"Being young isn't about age, it's about being a free spirit." Florence had always been 25 years old (she never told anyone her real age). She loved to travel and was youthful, exciting, and fun to be with. Florence never met a stranger. An avid artist, she always kept herself busy with gold- and silversmithing, rock and fossil collecting, turtle club, lace club, drawing, sewing and crocheting. She was a terrible cook who loved eat. She will surely be missed.
