Florence Dalton

Mrs. Florence E. Dalton, age 91, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013. She was born in Montague, MI on April 10, 1922 to Herman & Ruth (Ramthun) Lehman and married Thomas B. Dalton on July 8, 1950. Mrs. Dalton had been employed as a bookkeeper and taught piano for years until retiring. She was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ and the Women's Chamber of Commerce. She loved to volunteer and could be found at the Rescue Mission, Greater Muskegon Women's Club and Red Hat Society. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Daughters, Jill (Terry) Gould of Twin Lake, Kimberly Dalton of Muskegon; step grandchildren, Tracy Sanders, Michael Peters and their father, Roger Justice; many beloved great nieces & nephews; and dear friends, Cori & Jackie Bates. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas. SERVICE Wednesday, October 9, 2013, 1:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel-Muskegon with Rev. Timothy Vander Haar officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIAL: Mercy VNS & Hospice.
