Ferris Carefelle

Mr. Ferris L. Carefelle, age 88, died Friday, May 21, 2010 at home. He was born in Manistique, MI on February 21, 1922 to William & Maude (Paradise) Carefelle and served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He married the former Marion Edwards on January 27, 1945. Mr. Carefelle had been employed as a foreman at Michigan Spring for 30 years until retiring in 1984. He was an avid Tiger fan who enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. SURVIVORS Son, William (Linda) Carefelle of TN; daughter, Jo Ann (Brian) Dixon of CA; grandson, Aaron Dixon; granddaughter, Kristina Hooks; brother, Ronald (Susan) Carefelle; sisters, Billie (Warren) MacGregor, Millie Ann Carley; brother-in-law, Milton (Catherine) Edwards; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion on October 1, 1984 and a sister, Lois Gillingham. MEMORIAL SERVICE Wednesday, May 26, 2010, 3:00 PM at the Clock Chapel-Muskegon with Rev.
