Mr. Ferdinand B. "Bob" Hansen, age 87, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010. He was born in McBrides, MI on October 2, 1922 to Henry & Ada (Zimmerman) Hansen and served his country in the US Merchant Marines. He married the former Dorothy Hancock on April 8, 1945. Mr. Hansen had been employed at Campbell, Wyant & Cannon and retired from Apex Welding 1986. He was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church and enjoyed baseball, bowling and golfing. SURVIVORS Wife of 65 years, Dorothy; daughter, Susan (Larry) Lokers of Zeeland; sons, Gary (Carol) Hansen of NC, Robert (Jill) Hansen of North Muskegon; grandchildren, Eric (Rebecca) Lokers, Julie (R.J.) Holstine, Kathleen & Kelly Hansen, Taylor, Kelsey & Sydney Hansen; great grandchildren, Naomi, Hunter; brothers, Gordon (Vivian) Hansen of Stanton, Lawrence (Marge) Hansen of Stanton, Leroy (Betty) Hansen of Mt. Pleasant, Larry (Alida) Hansen of LA; sisters, Betty Garrow of Pentwater, Janice (Raymond) Wilson of Vestaburg, MI; brother & sisters-in-law, Howard Tiffany of Gowan MI, Priscilla Hansen of Greenville, Ellen Hansen of Grand Blanc. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers & 4 sisters. SERVICE Monday, May 3, 2010, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel-Muskegon with Rev. Bill Uetricht officiating. Interment at Forest Hill Cemetery in Stanton, MI. VISITATION: Sunday, 2:00-4:00 PM, Clock Life Story Funeral Home-Muskegon & Monday, 1 hour prior to the service. MEMORIAL: First Evangelical Lutheran Church or American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
