Williams, Felicia May Atlanta, Georgia Ms. Felicia May Williams, a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and family member, gifted to this world on August 22, 1970. God loved her so much that he called her home to be with him on August 13, 2022 at the age of 51 from a long battle with colon cancer. Felicia was bom in Augusta, GA and is best described as simply and truly one of a kind. Her smile, her beauty and her graceful personality is how we all got to know and experience her best, and in her own Felicia way, she impacted and touched the lives of so many people. At an early age, her parents decided to relocate to Muskegon Ml in 1972. Felicia attended Muskegon Heights High School and graduated in 1988. She accepted Christ at an early age. Felicia was employed by H&R Block in Muskegon, MI for 10 years and relocated to Saginaw MI to continue her employment with this firm Shortly, Felicia relocated back to her hometown in Georgia. She was employed at a dealership in South Atlanta for 2 years and most recently was a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley until her passing. When remembering Felicia affectionately known as leashy, we must remember her selfless acts, her kind heart and willingness to do for others in order to truly honor and celebrate the legacy she left behind. Whenever there was a person in need, she was there for them, friend, family or stranger. She was always the one to put others first and herself last. She loved her family and friends but most importantly she believed in God. It was easy to love and rely on Felicia because she took pride in whatever she did. A proud daughter to her parents Georgia Mathis. Alton Williams and Robert Mathis to being a proud mother and grandmother to her children, London. Carson, Brandon and Bianca Williams and beautiful grandchildren JoEllar, Brycen and Hezekiah. They were the people in her life that brought her the most joy. The ones that helped shape and mold her into the person that we would remember her as today; Although she wasn't perfect, she wholeheartedly enjoyed being a daughter, a mother and grandmother. Despite her shy and timid ways. Felicia was tough as bones and wasn't afraid to take on any challenge. She lived life on her own terms and navigated through life, adulthood by taking risks, trusting God and stepping out on faith. Even on some of her toughest and final days she knew that if she kept God first and close to her that everything iyould be alright. Raised to love the Lord and to treat others the way she wanted to be treated is exactly how we got to see God in her and through her. Felicia was big on outreach and letting God use her gifts to bless others. She started an advocacy outreach program called Stretch in 2011, where she and a few others went into the streets of Atlanta to give back to those that were less fortunate. Stretch is an acronym that stands for Standing Together Reaching Everyone Through Community Help" and it was her way of exemplifying who God was in her life. Apart from being a mother and giving back to the community she loved spending time with her siblings, nieces and nephews and shared many wonderful moments with them all. She was fun to be around, the life of the party and was known throughout the family for her famous mac and cheese. It was the small things to Felicia that mattered and she didn't live life with regrets. She traveled, she started businesses, inspired others and was the best at whatever she did. She became someone that we admired and all learned something from, no matter what she meant to the world, we meant the world to her. All of us did and in knowing that we must honor her final wishes. To be happy, love others and keep God first. Felicia loved hard even if it hurt. But that love she had, is the reason we celebrate her today and every day after. In peace she will lay but forever be in the hearts and memories of her friends and family. Brycen and Hezekiah; special nephew, Jullian Plummer, special friends, Leslie Singleton, Tara Riley, Bernadette Bryant and Kimberly Evans, an a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Alton Lee Williams, grandmother, Nezzie Jones, grandfather, Quitman Stewart; grandfather, Robert Jones and nephew Alton Williams SERVICES A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 starting at 12 noon at Willie A.
