Farkas, Dolores L.

Mrs. Dolores L. Farkas, age 83, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 31, 2006 at a local hospital. She was born September 8, 1923 in Muskegon to Ralph and Sadie (Walkley) Wachsmuth. She was married to John R. Farkas in Muskegon on July 14, 1951. Mrs. Farkas was employed at Shaw Crane, Sealed Power and later worked as a Teacher's Aid at Muskegon Heights Public Schools. She enjoyed reading and going to Lake Michigan with her husband John. SURVIVORS: husband, John; 2 daughters, Jill R. (Scott Majetich) Farkas of Ft. Defiance, AZ and Judy R. (John) Dragone of N. Muskegon; 1 sister, Bonnie Rowe of Montague; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. A MEMORIAL GATHERING will be held Friday 6-8 p.m. at the Lee Funeral Home.
