Evelyn Taylor

Mrs. Evelyn Mae "Evy" (Fraser) Taylor, age 86, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 in Grand Haven Michigan. She was born on May 19, 1929 the youngest daughter of the late Donald Fulford & Edith Charlotte (White) Fraser of Rochester Michigan. Evelyn married Clyde Beryl Joseph Taylor on January 15, 1972 and he preceded her in death on June 22, 2011. Mrs. Taylor was born and raised in Rochester Michigan where she became a realtor and resided until age 44. Evy then moved around from Clarkston MI to Battle Creek MI to Canton GA, Ballground GA, Crossville & Cleveland TN, as well as a few places in Florida. Evy was an avid gardener and reader who especially loved poems and rhymes. She was a very social, driven, hard working, redheaded, spunky gal with a 'you can do it' attitude. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS A loving mother who is survived by all eight of her children, Susan Kay (Lawrence) Cerka, Barbara Ann (Lucy) Francisco, Mary Lee Wartell, Jean Mae (Wayne) Ash, Joan Rae (Robert) Supernaw, Laura Lou (Edward) Czarniak, Linda Dee Stranahan and Richard Warren (Philomena) Taylor; her loving grandchildren, Christine, Kimberly, Kenneth, David, Adam, Tyler, Jared, Jessie, Matthew, Andrea, Leanne, Charles, Jeremy, Paul and Victoria; 24 great grandchildren; nieces, Cindy, Melody, Bonnie, Connie, Rebecca and Patricia; nephews, Donald, William, Charles, Scott, Daniel, Mark, Paul and Eric. Besides her husband Clyde, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Donald (Hazel), Thomas (Shirley), Douglas (Ellen) and sister, Edith "DeeDee" (James) Beeson; grandsons, Herbie and Danny; nephew, James Beeson; ex husband and father of her children, Richard Warren Stranahan. SERVICE A private family burial will be held at a later date.
