Evelyn Shirey

Mrs. Evelyn Roberta Shirey, age 81, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015. She was born in Fremont, Michigan on February 27, 1934 to William & Bernetta (Morehead) Harwood and married Burdette Shirey on January 23, 1954. Mrs. Shirey had worked for the village of Casnovia as the village clerk. Evelyn was a member of Casnovia Baptist Church and will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Son, Daniel (Darlene) Shirey of Mattawan; daughters, Suzy (Jerry) Domish of PA, Monica (Mick Capman) Shirey of Muskegon; grandchildren, Jerramie Domish, Angela (Dan) Walsh, Katherine Shirey; sister, Glenda Callihan; brothers, Steve, George & Gary Harwood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burdette, in 2004 and sister, Gladys Glover. SERVICE Thursday, May 28, 2015, 2:00 pm with visitation one hour prior to the service at Grace Assembly of God Church - Fruitport with Rev. Casey Arnouts officiating.
