Evelyn Pickard

Mrs. Evelyn M. Pickard, age 82, died Saturday, August 18, 2007. Mrs. Pickard was born on September 3, 1924 in Muskegon, MI to Wilmer and Frances (Durham) Asprey and married Carlton A. Pickard on January 30, 1943 in Muskegon Heights. A homemaker who specialized in Christmas baking, she was a member of Broadway Baptist Church, an avid bird watcher, loved to travel and going to the casinos. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Jim (Sue) Pickard and Wayne (Evie) Pickard, both of Fruitport; 2 daughters, Sheryl (Mike) Harper of Muskegon Heights, Jan (Luis) Falcon of Muskegon; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; 1 brother, Bill Asprey of Muskegon; companion, Estell Sherrell of Muskegon. Mrs. Pickard was preceded in death by her husband Carlton in 1997. SERVICE Wednesday, August 22, 2007, 1:00 P.M. at Clock Chapel with Pastor Donald Letson officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Tuesday, August 21, 2007 1-3 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at Clock Life Story Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Hackley VNS Hospice.
