Evelyn Miller

Mrs. Evelyn M. Miller, age 79, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2007 in Fremont. She was born October 28, 1927 in Muskegon to Walter and Twila (Sherman) Chilcote. On October 29, 1951 she married Calvin Miller in Muskegon and later moved to Hesperia where they resided for over 40 years. Evelyn's family was the greatest joy of her life. She is survived by 3 children, Bonnie (Wayne) Bills of Hesperia, Patty Miller of Lansing, David Miller of Hesperia; daughter-in-law, Phyllis (Michael, deceased) Miller of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Amanda Miller of Muskegon and Jennifer (Tom) Saltzman of Twin Lake and 1 great-grandson, Jared Saltzman. She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin on April 19, 2004; 2 sons, Samuel Miller and Michael Miller; and 1 sister, Joy Hall. A special thank you belongs to the wonderful staff at Transitional Health Services of Fremont. Services for Evelyn will be 2:00PM, Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the Hesperia Baptist Church (115 N. Smith St.) with Pastor Tom Cooper and Pastor Tom MacKay officiating. Visitation with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
