Evelyn Borgeson

Mrs. Evelyn J. Borgeson, age 97, died Sunday, January 11, 2009. She was born in Chicago, IL on August 18, 1911 to Charles & Ella (Kruhbeck) Green and married Carl O. Borgeson May 24, 1934 in Muskegon. He preceded her in death in 1986. Evelyn enjoyed working puzzles and hand painting china. She and Carl loved to travel and had served as missionaries in the Belgium, Congo following retirement. Foremost to Evelyn was always her family. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Richard (Susanne) Borgeson of Muskegon, James (Maria) Borgeson of AZ; 1 daughter, Janet (Robert) Hendrick of Grand Haven, MI; 1 sister Charlotte (Harold) Evans of NV; 10 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 3 sister-in-laws, Ruth Hogston, Orel Borgeson, Elaine Borgeson all of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Berniece Gorenflo SERVICE Tuesday, January 13, 2009, 11 AM at Forest Park Covenant Church with Rev. Paul Bengtson officiating. Interment at Norton Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday 10 AM until service time at Forest Park Covenant Church. MEMORIAL: Forest Park Covenant Church memorial fund.
