Evelyn Alstrom

Mrs. Evelyn P. Alstrom, age 90, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006. She was born in Muskegon, MI on July 10, 1915 to George & Petra (Larson) Bloomquist & married Raymond Alstrom on September 14, 1940. Mrs. Alstrom was a former member of Lakeside Baptist Church & currently attended Forest Park Covenant Church. She was a volunteer at Hackley Hospital for over 25 years & a member of Friends of Art, Muskegon Exchangettes, and Vasa Lodge. Evelyn enjoyed travel with her husband, Ray; golf, baking and spending time with her family. SURVIVORS 1 son, Charles (Gloria) Alstrom of Muskegon; 1 daughter, Lori (Dana) Klimp of Birchwood, MN; 4 grandchildren, Michael (Terri) Alstrom, Malia Alstrom (Barbara Reichert), Julie Klimp & John Klimp; 4 great grandchildren, Faith Alstrom and Logan, Alyssa & Sawyer Closs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond in 2000; 3 sisters, Ethel Peterson, Elsie Block & Edith Kroeze & 2 brothers, Robert Bloomquist & George Bloomquist SERVICE Saturday, April 1, 2006, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Paul Bengtson officiating. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
