Mrs. Evalyn "Blondie" Zlotnicki, age 81, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on October 23, 1929 to Melvin & Eva (Lowden) Brooks and married Joseph F. Zlotnicki on February 14, 1948. Mrs. Zlotnicki, after raising 6 children went back to school to earn her diploma and went on to become a teacher's aide at Fruitport Adult Education for 10 years until retiring. She was a member of the Tallman Lake Sr. Center & Baldwin VFW Women's Auxiliary who enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling, board games and cards. SURVIVORS Daughters, Linda (Paul) VanDonkelaar, Susan (Herb) Fierke, Sandy Butcher; sons, John Zlotnicki, David (Becca) Zlotnicki, Joseph (Janet Hall) Zlotnicki; special "adopted" daughter, Cindy Stailey; 25 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren all who knew her as "JoeMama" or "Granny"; brother, Russell (Louise) Brooks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. in 2007; great grandson, Elizjah Butcher; sister, Marion Woodford; brothers, Leroy & Richard Brooks. MEMORIAL SERVICE A Private Service will be held in the spring. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice or MHP-Johnson Cancer Center.
