Eulala Berg

BERG, MRS. EULALA LOLLY North Muskegon Mrs. Eulala L. Berg, age 95, died Thursday, September 21, 2006. She was born in Muskegon on October 11, 1910 to Mauritz & Euphemia (Lundborg) Peterson and married Helmer Berg in 1942. Mrs. Berg had been employed as a secretary in Muskegon County offices and in Michigan State offices in Lansing. She was an accomplished artist, painting in oils and water colors. She also worked with driftwood composition and won several awards in all 3 mediums. She was a member of Samuel Lutheran Church and a member of the VASA organization. SURVIVORS 2 granddaughters, Dr. Heather Bixler-Barnes of IL, Kirsten S. Bixler of PA; 2 sisters, Rae L. Gudelsky of IN, Muriel P. Kintner of N. Muskegon; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces, great grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Helmer Berg in 1973, daugher, Barbara Berg Bixler in 1989, 2 sisters, Phoebe Anne Mauerer in 1987, and Florence McLaughlin in 2002.
