TAKATS, MR. EUGENE ALBERT Grand Haven Mr. Eugene A. Takats, age 85, died Friday, December 17, 2004. He was born in Muskegon, MI on October 14, 1919 to Julius & Margaret Beluzar Takats & married the former Dorothy Groth LaRue in 1976. Mr. Takats was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of WWII serving in the China-Burma-India Theater. He had been employed as a Foreman at Sealed Power for 17 years until retiring in 1985. Mr. Takats was a member of China- Burma-India Vets Association & had a pilots license. He loved to fish, dance, bowling, snowmobiling, tinkering with electronics, flea markets & photography. SURVIVORS Wife, Dorothy LaRue Takats; son, Eugene Takats Jr. of CA; daughter, Suzanne David Kerr of Battle Creek; step-children, Carl Diane LaRue, Bill Peggy LaRue & Dan Carol LaRue all of OH & Nancy Russ Pearson of Grand Haven; sisters, Betty Otto of Ann Arbor, Margaret Mason of Muskegon, Theresa Gomery of Muskegon & Maryanne Csanda of WI; numerous grandchildren, nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Irene Kandalec & a brother, Julius. SERVICE Tuesday, December 21, 2004, 2:00 PM at the Clock Chapel in Muskegon. Interment at Lakeshore Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at Clock Funeral Home in Muskegon. MEMORIAL: American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society. Clock - Muskegon
