Eugene William Roswell, Sr.

Mr. Eugene William Roswell, Sr., age 82, of Muskegon, passed away October 28, 2007 at home surrounded by his family. He was born November 13, 1924 in Jasper, TX to William and Blanche (Pennington) Roswell. Eugene attended Austin School for the Deaf. He was a member of the Michigan Association of the Deaf and was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. He loved to make everyone laugh. Eugene will be missed by everyone. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Randy. He is survived by his wife, Doris, of 60 years of marriage; children: Eugene, Jr. (Penny), Tom (Louise), John, and Hazel (Tom); grandchildren: John, Shawn, Amber, Tom, Jr., Melissa, Randy, Miranda, Ben & Jesse (from KY), Sarah, and Stevie Ray; great grandchildren: Anthony, Rebecca, Kaileen, Dakota, Kyler, Xzaivier, Tom III, Cierra, Hannah, Dezmin, Dominick, Abbie, Cloie and Cooper. Memorial services will be Wednesday, October 31st at 11:00 a.m. at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave., with Mr. Tom Westbrook officiating. Reception following at Fruitport Bethel Baptist, 213 W. Oak, Fruitport. Memorials may be made to Doris Roswell.
