Eugene A. "Buzz" Berson

Mr. Eugene A. "Buzz" Berson, age 59, died Saturday, December 1, 2007. He was born in Muskegon, MI on September 7, 1948 to Arthur O. & Winifred J. (Ellison) Berson & married the former Betty Almary Green on August 13, 1988. Mr. Berson was employed as a welder at SAF Holland (Neway) for the past 23 years & also Union Counselor. He was a member of Lakes Community Nazarene Church & Fruitport Eagles #3666 Aerie. Eugene was active in the United Way & played Santa for the United Way. He enjoyed hunting, being up north & camping. SURVIVORS Wife, Betty Almary; 2 sons, Lars Bulson & Tony Berson; 4 stepchildren, Terry (Sandi) Wright, David Wright, Stacey (Dennis) Wettach, Michael Wright; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 1 sister, Sheila (Bob) Cooley; 2 brothers, Wayne "Abe" (Lori) Berson & Gary (Teri) Berson; step-father, Al Patricio; numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents & a grandson, Little Terry. SERVICE Thursday, December 6, 2007, 11:00 AM at Lakes Community Nazarene Church, 2270 Mill Iron Rd. with Pastor Edd Wilber officiating. VISITATION Thursday, 1 hour prior to the service at Lakes Community Church. MEMORIAL: United Way.
