Ethel Szydlowski

Mrs. Ethel M. Szydlowski, age 91, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012. She was born in Muskegon, MI on July 5, 1920 to James & Charlotte (Purcey) Hibbard and married Victor Szydlowski. Mrs. Szydlowski had been a loving homemaker. She was a long time member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and member of the Rosary Altar Society & Catholic Daughters. Ethel enjoyed Bingo, knitting and card games but foremost was always her family. SURVIVORS Sons, Mike (Kathleen) Szydlowski, of TX, James (Christine) Szydlowski of Grand Haven, John (Cindy) Szydlowski of Norton Shores; daughters, Midge (Frank) Drew of Northville, Kathy (Glen) Snyder of FL, Debbie (Randy) VenHuizen of N. Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; son Mark; daughter, Susan and granddaughter, Ann. SERVICE Thursday, January 12, 2012, 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Brown officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery. VISITATION Wednesday, 6-8 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:30 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: St. Michael's Catholic Church.
