Simpson-Briggs, Ms. Ethel Lee Muskegon, Michigan Mrs. Ethel Lee Simpson Briggs, age 54, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at her residence in Muskegon, MI. Ethel was born on January 9, 1968 to the union of Jerry Willie C Simpson Jr. and Ina Goins Simpson in Pickens, MS. Ethel accepted Christ at an early age and attended New Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. James E. Witcher. She enjoyed attending church, reading her bible, listening to her gospel music, singing, dancing, partying, and spending time with her family and most of all, she loved God. SURVIVORS Ethel leaves to cherish in memories her children, Little Ethel (Warren) Simpson, Shiree (Eric) McMillian, Fredrick ( Ameerah) Simpson, Barbara (Shawn) Simpson; grandchildren, Demarri, Deangelo, Janiyah, Maurice, Mariah, Austin, Enaysha, Deon, Warreon, Warrkeem, Kemontae, Davontae, Ariana, Deasia, Eric, and Hope; sisters, Betty(Earl) Simpson, Helen (James) White, Drucilla Jackson, Jackie (Billy) Simpson- Chaplin, Martha Anderson, Martha Ann (Jessie); brothers David (Paulette) Simpson, Sylvester Simpson, Larry Simpson; special friend Janice Briggs; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Willie C Simpson; mother, Ina Simpson; sister, Katie (J.W.) Carter; brother, James Goins, Adam Goins and special friend Joy Moore. SERVICE A Celebration of Life for Ethel will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday January 29, 2022 Clock Funeral Home Inc., 1469 Peck St, Muskegon, MI 49441 with Pastor James Goins, officiating.
