Mrs. Ethel Jean Robinson, age 83, died peacefully surrounded by her family Tuesday, December 4, 2007. Ethel was born on November 27, 1924 in Muskegon, MI., to Frank and Josephine (Zielinski) Swift. She married Charles Robinson on January 14, 1946 and he died on October 6, 1978. Ethel was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church. Her family was her pride and joy which she loved dearly. Survivors are her children, Charles (Victoria) Robinson of Charlevoix, MI., Jean (Henry) Graves of Muskegon, MI., Holly (Michael R.) Priest of Whitehall, MI., and Monica (Dan) Dusnik of Grand Rapids, MI.; her six grandchildren, Veronica (John) Schrimshaw, Brian (Molly) Graves, Bruce (AErin) Graves, Michael S. (Michelle) Priest, Jennifer (Scott) Tibbe and Jonathan Dusnik; her eight great-grandchildren, Owen, Eli, and Ella Graves, Jack Scrimshaw, Brendon and Dylan Oppenhiemer, Cole and Serenity Priest; brother-in-law, Casey Gorajec of Muskegon, MI.; and many nieces and nephews. Ethel was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Mark and daughter, Wendy, and two sisters, Emily Gorajec and Marjorie Kuczmera. The Funeral Liturgy will begin at 11 am Friday at St. Michaels Catholic Church. Burial will be made in St. Marys Cemetery. Visitation hours on Thursday will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Pachesny-Jend Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 pm. Visitation at the church Friday one hour prior to service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Hackley Public Library.
