Ethel P. Pierce PIERCE, MRS. ETHEL P. (Widow of Herman) Muskegon Mrs. Ethel P. Pierce, age 85, died Thursday, January 26, 2006 in Muskegon. She was born on May 16, 1920 in Muskegon to Barthold & Emma (Anderson) Hagen, and was a life resident. Mrs. Pierce was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, and had worked for over 20 years at Teledyne Continental Motors, before retiring in 1983. She married Herman C. Pierce on February 14, 1946, and he preceded her in death on February 7, 1963. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Herman Michael (Sheryl) Pierce of Portland, MI, Steven (Judy) Pierce of Muskegon, and Allyson Patricio of Ann Arbor; 8 grandchildren, Kimberly,Krysten, Tighe (Tracy), Brett (Kerri), Andrew, Kendall, Adam and Carrie; 1 great grandson, Desmond; siblings, Mildred Hasenbank, Lawrance "Russ" Hagen, James (Marge) Hagen, Sandra (Harvey) Pummel; sister-in-law, Doreen Hage; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Howard, Helen "Bernice", Clarence "Bing", Donald, Maxine, and Robert. The family would like to thank the staff of Hackley ER, and Poppen Hospice Residence for their special care. SERVICES will be 1 PM Monday at First Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. William Uetricht officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 Burial will take place in Laketon Twp. Cemetery.
