Ethel Melton

Mrs. Ethel M. Melton, age 91, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Heartland of Holland following a long illness. She was born in Cedar Creek TWP, MI on May 29, 1920 to Walter & Georgia (Cooley) Zellar and married William Melton on March 29, 1941. Mrs. Melton attended Heights Gospel Tabernacle for many years. She was an avid reader of many subjects but especially enjoyed reading the Bible. She also played the accordion and guitar in church and for a Christian radio program for several years in Muskegon. She loved animals, and they loved her all of her life. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and growing vegetables. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. (Bette) Melton of Zeeland; 20 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sisters, Pearl Waller of Ravenna, Elma Ferguson of Fruitport, Helen Howe of Texas, and Mary Kelly of Fruitport.
