Mrs. Ethel Kreifeldt, age 91, passed away November 2, 2007. She was born in Muskegon on April 4, 1916 to Johone and Margaret Klinger. She graduated from Muskegon Senior High in 1934 and remained here as a lifelong resident. On October 12, 1940 she married Steve R. Hulka, who preceded her in death May 27, 1963. Ethel married Henry Kreifeldt on September 8, 1977. Henry passed away in September 1994. Also preceding her in death was her son, Richard S. Hulka in 1994, a step-son, Gary Kreifeldt, her brother, Earl Klinger and her sister Jeannie Schwerske. Ethel is survived by her daughters, Joyce Wiley of Muskegon and Darlene Bourdo of Sparta; a step daughter, Karine (Don) Graham, of Farwell; seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and nine step great-grandchildren. Ethel worked at Anaconda Wire and Cable as a secretary, Fenstemacher's Fabric Shop, Daniels Gifts and retired as a secretary for the plant manager of Teledyne Continental Motors in 1979. She was active in the Glenside PTA where she was president in 1948 as well as being a Brownie leader that same year. Ethel loved to read, sew, crochet, golf and travel. She attended First Baptist Church, 1070 S. Quarterline Road for many years, where a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 19th at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverends Gerald Hagans and John Brown officiating.
