Ethel Hartman

Mrs. Ethel E. Hartman, age 93, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born in Greenville, WI on November 24, 1918 to Arthur & Alma (Schroeder) Schefe and married Patrick Hartman on February 17, 1941. Mrs. Hartman had been a Registered Nurse for over 40 years. She was a long time member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and a member of the Red Hat Society. Ethel enjoyed baking, knitting, crocheting, and sewing. But foremost was always her family. SURVIVORS Daughters, Cathy (Roger) Westover of Kalamazoo, Patricia Burkhart of Monroe; daughter-in-law, Janet (Barney) Sutherland of Twin Lake; grandchildren, Patrick, Robert, Lynn, Dave, Dan, Colleen 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick; sons, Jim brother, Earl; sister, Marian Mueller. SERVICE Friday, February 24, 2012, 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Anthony Pelak officiating. Interment at East Dalton Oakhill Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
