Esther M. Warber

WARBER, MISS ESTHER M. Formerly of Grand Haven Miss Esther M. Warber age 82 , died Saturday June 11, 2005 at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. She was born in Grand Haven Twp. on March 21, 1923 to Alex and Lena Schippers Warber. She served her country as a wave in the US Navy in WWII. Miss Warber was a member of the Methodist Church of the Dunes, The Chautaqua Society of Grand Haven, The Women's Overseas Service League in Washington DC since 1957, The American Legion, The DAV and VFW, also The American Psychological Assoc and the University Women's Club. SURVIVORS Sister, Marvell Francisco of Grand Haven, MI a brother, Andy Betty Warber of Ravenna, MI and a niece, Connie VanOeffelen of Coopersville. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Lillian Scott, Ethel Schroedor and Erma Nielson; 6 brothers, Raymond and Harold Francisco and Charles, George, Allen and Paul Warber. SERVICE According to her wishes there will be no services for Miss Warber. Interment at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek, MI. MEMORIAL: United Methodist Church of the Dunes, Grand Haven.
