Esther Vasquez

Mrs. Esther M. Vasquez, age 86, died Monday, October 15, 2012. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 13, 1926 to August & Estelle (Stuck) Nyquist. Mrs. Vasquez had been employed for the Muskegon County Treasurer for years until retiring in 1981. Esther danced at the Frauenthal as a Hackley Follie. She loved to travel, golf, play Dominoes and her book club. SURVIVORS Nieces, Ruthe (Larry) Gebhart of Muskegon, Sue Vanderlaan of Muskegon; nephew, Norman Patterson; great niece, Ashlee Madden; sister-in-law, Ethel Nyquist; many great nieces & nephews; special friend, Janice Welch and her other friends at Pine Grove Manor. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Morrison on 8/9/1980 and brother, Alfred Nyquist. SERVICE No Services will be held. MEMORIAL: Muskegon Rescue Mission or the Humane Society.
