Esther Joyce Rutherford, age 82, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025. She was born in Hoopeston, IL on August 25, 1942 to George & Hazel (Stump) Rutherford and graduated from Holton High School. Joyce spent many years with the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Walker until his death in 2010 and also helped him in his business. She was a regular at Mike's Inn in downtown Muskegon where she had many friends. But most important in her life was her grandson William "Billy" Barrett III whom she raised. Joyce will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

SURVIVORS

daughter, Dawn (Woody) VanBlargan; son, William (Barb Gamelin-Moleski) Barrett II; step-son Brian (Nicole) Walker; grandsons, William "Billy" (Mary Reah) Barrett III, Kadir Walker; Sister Linda Levandowski; several nieces and nephews; many special friends from Mike's Inn. Joyce was preceded in death by her siblings, Frank, Bud, Helen, Hazel and Pat.
