Esther Dengler

Mrs. Esther E. Dengler, age 89, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009. She was born in Muskegon, MI on July 18, 1919 to August & Ida (Zorn) Aue. Mrs. Dengler was a former employee of Norge, Brunswick & Teledyne Continental Motors. She was a member of Samuel Lutheran Church and Genesis #88 Order of the Eastern Star. Esther was the last of her generation to arrive and the last to leave. Rest in Peace. SURVIVORS Esther is survived by sons, Gary (Angela) Schmeltekopf, Duane (Nancy) Smeltekop; 3 grandchildren, George (Susan), Douglas (Diane) & the late Gregory Collar; 5 great grandchildren; 4 great great granchildren; sisters-in-law, Faith & Dorothy Aue & many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Henry Smeltekop & Franz Peter Dengler; her parents; siblings, Louise Henrietta (Gottfried) Herrmann, Otto August (Maggie) Aue, Elsa Augusta (Henry) Herbst, F. Wilhelm (Henrietta) Aue, Gustav Adolph (Florence) Aue, Oscar August (Faith) Aue, E. Herbert (Dorothy) Aue, Helene Elisabeth (Orlando) Smeltekop, Emil George Aue, Paul Gerhard (Silvia) Aue, Walter Bernard Aue. MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, July 18, 2009, 2:00 PM at Samuel Lutheran Church, 8TH Street & Muskegon Avenue, Muskegon. Cremation & burial have taken place.
